I just upgraded to a super computer based upon specs at vmix website to be a dedicated workstation to run Vmix... I have a recording today, and I am running it for the first time on this PC (bad timing as always) and the live preview screens are choppy and in slow motion ... this never happened before. Any ideas how to fix this? I have a people coming to the studio in 5 hours... sweating bullets...
I am using magewell xl1000dusb-HDMI video boxes
This has not been a problem before, and my system specs are actually higher than that of the basic requirements.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Paul

check the project setting frame rate and resolution, the cpu usage, render time, if the nvidia is correctly selected, if you are using more than one usb capture, look in your mainboard if have different usb3 controller, and connect one in each controller. and first only one and later add another.
if the cpu usage is over 50% is the cpu. if it is lower and the render is more than 1/project fps, could be the graphic. usb capture FOR MY is a bad idea, or just only one.

Boxes? That implies more than one. So My bet would be you plugged them into USB ports on the same controller (basically a built in USB hub). You'd want them on dedicated USB 3.0 Controllers, or use a PCIE card
