VMixDesktopCapture OSX repeatedly quits

Hi I have a problem with VmixDesktopCapture running on OSX Sierra, I'm using it to bring in the second display which I use for various screens to bring in, mostly a variable number of Chrome web pages (I cant really use the in built in VMix web browser as it is often dynamic content and I'm a one man show.
The application on OSX repeatedly quits at random point making it pretty difficult to viably use the NDi source - are there any gotchas that I am perhaps missing as to why its not working?
Using wired ethernet connection, tried Wifi too but equally unstable. the OSX application keeps quitting.
The source is my external monitor 1920x180 and its a pretty new i7 macbookpro

I was looking around and found that this app from Sienna works seamlessly with my setup: https://itunes.apple.com...084051465?ls=1&mt=12about 45$ but much more stable and smoother playback on full 1080 HD second screen. You can also install Soundflower if you want the audio output of the Mac to be sent too.
