Hi, I got my new notebook for streaming (i7 7700, GTX 1070, 32 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD, Blackmagic Capture Cards in Thunderbolt enclosure) and I wanted to prepare tomorrows live show, but ran into troubles. I use a Quicktime animation with Alpha for the Cornerlogo and MP3 files for pre-show streaming. Everytime I close vMix and reopen it, the files are labeled as "Offline" and I get some error messages in the Systray from "Haali Media Splitter". When I reinstall vMix I can open everything and also insert MP3s or Quicktime files. But after reopening vMix I get these errors. I don't know where to start searching for the cause and reinstalling vMix before opening can't be a solution. Any idea?! Regards Seb Here's a screenshot of an error inserting a MP3 file:

It seems to be a codec issue.
Have you tried opening it as an administrator?

Additional information: everytime after a fresh vMix install routine, I need to open vMix directly to get it working. If I finish the installation routine without opening vMix the problem will occur. Also when vMix closes itself because of configuration changes and reopens directly, the error does NOT appear and it continues working fine. I streamed my show yesterday for over three hours with multiple cameras, animated backgrounds, PiP with different SDI sources. Everything went fine. So the machine is working well, except these little problems...

Hi,
Looks like you are not running the 64bit version of vMix. Run the vMix (x64) icon in the start menu instead. That is what runs after installing vMix and should also be on your desktop.
Regards,

Hi Martin! admin wrote:Looks like you are not running the 64bit version of vMix. Thank you very much. That will be the case. I can't verify now, but I made a vMix shortcut in the taskbar and started it from there all the time. I will replace this shortcut... Regards Seb
