Don't know the best way to do this. Basically I want my webcam to capture me live, and rather than the background behind me, show a video background (the ocean, no audio). I would like the video to take up the entire background with me in the forefront. Don't know if I need chroma key for this, or layers. Not sure how to set up either. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Not sure what I am doing wrong, but I cannot get green screen chroma key to work. This is what I do. I create an input for my webcam, then I create an input for the video I want on the green screen. I then go back to the webcam input, and use the chroma key eyedropper to select the green background. Then I create a virtual set from a blank, (background and webcam). I go to my webcam input and use the eyedrop tool to select the green screen. In the virtual set, I use background with my video clip, and layer 1 my webcam. I start my video. When I do this, I get only me sitting in front of a webcam with the green screen behind me and no video at all. If I flip the settings on the virtual set, all I get is the video. What am I doing wrong? Should be simple but it isn't.

@ michaelrb
Is the "Chroma Key Filter" box ticked? (after you select the eyedropper color) Once it's ticked, you can adjust the slider for your key. (the green should not be visible in the Input)
