Hi Does anybody have a list of windows tweaks that would enable vmix to run better? I've checked to see if there where any previous posts but couldn't find any. Background services that could be switched off or processor scheduling priorities etc. Cormac

Just type "msconfig" then untick anything that is "non-microsoft" that is not being used.
You need to do this under the "services" and "startup" tab.
Apart from this, just make sure you have the latest version of Windows 10 and the latest version of vMix and capture card drivers.
I use my vMix in "Mission Critical" streams where crashing is just not an option, so I have a dedicated PC which is only used for vMix and nothing else.
Always try and have a very clean PC with not a lot running.
Make sure your power supply is "over spec" (eg. Mine is 1200w) and also make sure you have a large heatsink on your CPU.
Having said all that, I can stream 24/7 on my normal desktop without it crashing.
