I use vMIX for our church live worship services. One of the biggest frustrations I have with our set up is being unable to master the audio levels. I am forever fighting the loud and soft voices by raising and lowering the master and individual audio input levels.
I would like to see the following implemented:
- Relatively accurate audio level meter (the actual numbers of the db scale, not just green, yellow and red) next to the master audio LED indicator, as well as on each audio input.
- A LIMITER built in to vMIX audio mixer that will limit the sound from overdriving.
- A WARNING SIGNAL that pops up when there is no audio signal received when the stream/recording is active. Yes, I know about the after market plug in that someone came up with. Let's get something like that installed IN the vMIX software.
