Sometimes, due to negligence of operators (who use the web tally), they faced the fact that they instead of indicating the thallies went freely to the web controller and without understanding their actions could disrupt the system of work.
Moreover, in my country when using wi-fi connectivity, pests that know the flaws in the security of the system and are able to hijack a Wi-Fi (finding open connections and listening ports at all is not a problem - he broke the system for verification), deliberately sabotaged the work.
In this regard, I very much ask you to add password access to the web controller function.

I knew there was a thread somewhere that talked about such security...
(in fact I think there is at least one other that deals with limited access for various personnel in the crew, such as camera operators only having access to tally etc.)

To me, this is still a workaround and requires third party software to install, navigate through and manage.
Not a deal breaker for many, but certainly not as straight forward or as simple as a tic box and a code or password from within vMix. The objective here should be to simplify the process for users, kind of along the lines of vMixCall or the vMix Streamer, there are others way to do those things too, but I think most will agree that doing them within vMix is a lot more user friendly and convenient.
Just my thoughts.

You did not quite understand me correctly - WEB tŠ°llies are suitable for me at open access, which controls the configuration process, and the WEB controller needs to be protected. You propose to me (judging by the link) to completely fill the port - it's not quite right. I need only the WEB controller. This is due to the fact that even having access with a password to the port - the web controller remains unprotected. I do not know how to write it in your language, but in our country it's hard to provide protection from a fool and this password is one of the correct solutions. But there are a lot of "stupid" people (idiots and what I can not translate) "specialists", unfortunately I do not always have to work with professionals.
