- Tom The SDK isn't released yet, but I'm sure that Martin will be on it quick when it is available. Kane Peterson NewTek

Hopefully the decision to prefer multicast and having an automated selection between multicast and unicast won't break existing network infrastructures...
I learned from our network guys that multicast networks have to be planned carefully in case of assigning multicast ip addresses and not to flood or overload certain network links. Also is there a need for IGMP support on the switch itself?
We will see how this will work. But I would prefer to choose unicast/multicast transmission by myself.
Regards, Patrick

Regards, Patrick There is a registry key for disable/auto/force multicast if needed. There are also registry options to set the multicast network range. All of this is in the SDK docs posted above. The auto option is suppose to be intelligent and fall back to unicast if needed. My expectation is that for most people, they will not need to do anything and it will work like before. As you can imagine, some networks do require specific settings and the ability to change it is available. Kane Peterson NewTek
