Had a stream over the weekend of the SA Karting Championship. Had great coverage and I think it's one of the strongest streams we've done.

?t=3h29m14s

Had Sony XD CAM as the main follow camera up on a crowsnest for a better view of the track.
GoPro up there as well for a safety wide.
PTZ up the far left that could get quite a bit of the track with preset positions.
Occasionally had some on board cameras that we've put a bit of development into and finally had there working reliably.
Also did an impromptu vMix Call roaming interview when there was a bigger gap in between the races but the audio wasn't really good. But still better to have some content rather than just a large ad break.

We had all the bells and whistles ready for the last race but unfortunately a kid got hurt in the second to last race and it got called off.

Check it out and have a skim through. Keen on some feedback.

Cheers.

@ TrentisN

Wow, great coverage!
Somewhat curious about what you used for the "on-board" cam and what challenges you faced.
Too bad about the final, I hope the kid wasn't too badly injured but I take it that the track conditions changed and why the event was cancelled.

Very nice coverage. I'm also curious as to what technology you used to get the onboard feed into vmix.
