After trying a proof of concept (Sony cam > SDI > Bm thunderbolt min rec > Mac mini with win 10 on boot camp > vmix > hdmi out > led screen (Inc scaler) we are happy with the latency of this setup and it seems better than the Panasonic mx70 we have been switching threw.

So I'm now looking to build a small compact system but with 4 x HD-sdi in,

I'm likely going to go for the 4 way magwell capture card if not the deck link quad

Ideally I want to go with a 1u pc such as http://g2digital.co.uk/products/rack-pc/1u-nano/

But will I get away with the onboard intel graphics or do I need to jump to a 3u case that has room for a nvida card as well as the Magewell

Hi

It's highly recommended to use a nVidia GTX card as vMix is fully optimized for them.

A 3U or even 4U chassis is certainly a better option. But if you serach the forum, you will find out that some users have reported very good feedback from mini cmomputers like the Intel NUC for instance.
