Anyone using vMix to 'produce' edited content?

Meaning that the workflow is not to stream but to record and then dump in an editor?
Anyone Editing with vMix?

There is something 'fast' about vMix that even my fastest editors I have used didn't have.
I wonder if I could do an old school tape style edit in vMix and record out in real time, ans stream I guess too.

This is probably not that efficient since I don't have it in a template.

Currently I am designing a workflow to quickly capture things throughout the day.
Then dump that to my editor, I use Vegas currently, for finishing.

Funny enough a lot of times I just round trip it back to vMix and play it out live as part of something else.

That feedback loop is both cool and makes my head swim at the same time.
I have recorded, dumped, re-recorded, re-dumped and it creates a very fast creative process for ideas.

Thanks for checking out my post and I am excited to hear how you use vMix.

we use it to record multi-camera events at the music venue I work at. Ideally, I'd like to go straight to YouTube, but inevitably I have to edit the start times,

In the past, before I used vMix, I'd create a line cut live as the event was ongoing. I'd then use ISO recordings of each camera to augment the line cut in post.

On a recent project I wanted to do something like that using vMix, but I found the multi-corder didn't quite suit my needs. I had a mix of sources, including some RTMP and NDI. AFAIK, the multi-corder only addresses capture cards, so it wasn't a complete solution.

Use it a lot for multi-cam recordings which most times I have to edit, so it makes editing just removing long pauses or things that don't want to be seen.....its great also where I project to wide screen or a projector....especially in small areas, where the audience has to be split up, and even used it for demonstrations where the demonstration is in a different place, and the viewers are in another....works real well plus it is all recorded at the same time....
