I am trying to setup a preset for a web show.

I want to have multiple participants on vMixCall along with some audio and video clips.

My intention is to have the ability to speak to those on the calls as a producer but my audio not go out live.

I setup all the vMixCalls with the return feed as Bus A. I thought this would allow the callers to speak to each other in private without conversations going out live until the Master Audio was enabled on the input however it doesn't seem to be working. Nor can I head the audio through my headphones.

I feel like I am doing something obviously wrong or maybe what I am trying to do with the audio Bus A is totally misunderstood?

Can't give you the entire solution (i just don't know it), but to start you'll need to "enable" Bus A under Settings -> Audio Outputs.
thanks 1 user thanked sinc747 for this useful post.

I have Bus A now working thanks.

Now the list does go on - how can i monitor the audio from Bus A as well as Master - maybe monitor them separately?

Use a very simple usb plug in sound card. No good for 'real' audio output but fine for monitoring with earbuds.

You could use Bus B for monitoring and assign all the sources you want to hear.

Vmix M audio is also available as an input to monitor that as a group but with some
delay.
