Just learned about vMix and I want to try to use it to stream an upcoming video game tournament. Wondering if there is any sort of limitation on the trial software because I want to try to use the trial for the entire weekend (10-16 hours of stream time).
Also, this might be a long shot, but if all goes well and I do want to purchase vMix I can see myself needing 2 instant replay cameras which is a $500 price jump. Are there any plans on adding more configurations between 4k and Pro?

Welcome to vMix. The only limitations to the 60 day trial is the 60 day limit. No watermarks, no time limitations on a stream or recording, and no input limitations. It does get any better than that for professional software and professional results.
I have not heard of any plans for a version between 4K and Pro, but I don't know of any other software that offers the ability to bring in 8 independent callers with mix-minus, 4 channels of replay, the ability to record multiple inputs, and streams stream to multiple streams. I understand $500 is a good bit of money, but look and what you gain in the upgrade.
vMix is a great buy....even if you have to upgrade a bit at a time.

Yeah the vmix trial is great, of course, they do that for good reason, after 60 days you are in love with it as you have by then been using it as your main production system.

Kind of like when I just want to watch one channel but need to buy the entire package from a cable provider. Oh well, I knew it was a long shot. I'm sure I'll like vMix, it'll just be a difficult decision whether one more replay camera is worth $500.

@ Longur
With the 60 day trial you should be able to test out all of options available, including the option to restrict yourself from using more expensive features... Not necessarilly the easiest way to test and set things up, especially if you are not familiar with the various features of each version, but never-the-less, it's worth trying both without "Instant Replay" (vMixHD, and just use the "Video Delay" features, which pre-dates the newer Instant Replay) and restrict yourself to one camera Instant Replay as per vMix4k. From there you will better be able to asses what features you "gotta have now" and which ones you can postpone and upgrade to later. As Tom says, you won't find anything close by comparison but at least with vMix you can grow into it if necessary. Just some thoughts.
