Propresenter (ProP) is a great product for displaying lyrics to a projector via HDMI/DVI/VGA output on a laptop or desktop to an available video capture input on your vMix system, via a camera input. ProP thinks it is an external monitor when you do this. You can use this for lower thirds and have the ProP person change lyrics as usual with the vMix FULLSCREEN or EXTERNAL output going to the projector.

However, if you don't have an open capture device then you can use the vMix NDI app on the ProP system. You don't need to add an external monitor to the ProP system just fool it into thinking there is one by putting a "ghost" dongle into HDMI/DVI/VGA output. NDI will also see the extra "monitor" and then you can capture this using the NDI input of the vMix system.

By the way - ProPresnter does have a SDI/NDI module but the "ghost" dongle is much less expensive. do a search on Amazon or go to https://www.amazon.com/d...&colid=2FPVVTEG921AA

NOTE: - this will also work well for other applications that use an extended monitor for full screen display - i.e. PowerPoint.
