Hey all,
I'm trying to set up a live feed with two cameras. I have an Elgato HD60 Pro PCI card which vMix detects just fine.
I also have a Elgato HD 60 and and Elgato HD 60S which I have running through a USB 3.0 PCI Card on my Dell Precision T3500.

All of the capture devices work with the Elgato Game Capture software. I can see all my camera feeds individually. However neither the HD60, or the HD60s show up in the vMix Cameras list when I try to Add Input. The HD 60 Pro PCI card is listed and the feed appears in vMix.

Should I just return the HD60 and HD60s and get another HD60 pro PCI card?
Or is there a way to get them recognized in vMix?

Thanks,
Andy

Andy,

What happens if you try just the Elgato HD60 Pro PCI card and the Elgato HD60S? They are both on the vMix Supported Hardware list. The El Gato HD60 is not.

http://www.vmix.com/software/su...are.aspx#capturehardware

If the HD60 Pro PCI and the HD60S won't both show up as separate devices in vMix, then 2 HD60 Pro PCI Elgato devices might have the same problem.

The Elgato HD60 Pro may not support two (or multiple) instances of the card in the same system. You might want to ask Elgato support about that.

I have tried the same thing with my Elgato HD and Elgato HD 60S and have struck the same problem.

The conclusion I have come to is you can only use one Elgato device per PC at one time.

I did get 2 Elgato capture devices to work with OBS but it was very unstable.

I suspect its to do with Elgato drivers?

I think you are right about the Elgato drivers. I have an AverMedia Game Broadcaster HD which there can only be one (1) device in the system (confirmed by AverMedia support). However, their DarkCrystal HD Capture SDK II will support multiple devices in the same system. vMix will recognize each card, and both the HDMI and SD inputs for each card.

Sent Elgato a support request

They replied with instructions and beta drivers.

My "HD" and "HD 60S" now work together

Note: It appears that Elgato only want to support "HD 60S" and above for multiple capture cards.
