Hi all

Still getting a handle on vMix 19.x

I'm trying to set up a basic two camera setup on a notebook using two Elgato (HD and HD60S) USB capture cards.

I first tried the Elgato HD and that worked fine with vMix

I then purchased another Elgato HD60S and that works fine by its self.

But when I plug them both in at the same time vMix can only find one.

Both devices detected with "Elgato Game Capture"

But with vMix 19.x

I did read in the FAQ that dual USB inputs may not work

Any thoughts/solutions?

Thanks

The conclusion I have come to is you can't run two Elgato capture devices on one PC at the same time.

Suspect its a driver issue (outside design scope)?

It's not hard to imagine that the design of the driver does not allow two identical devices to be used at the same time.

This was certainly true for the Logitech webcam driver for the C920. Only by forcing it to use a standard UVC driver could you use multiple C920s on the same computer.

Sent Elgato a support request

They replied with instructions and beta drivers.

My "HD" and "HD 60S" now work together

Note: It appears that Elgato only want to support "HD 60S" and above for multiple capture cards.

I have a problem, vmix does not find the camcorder hd60s recently purchased, I followed the instructions by downloading and running VMIXELGATOCONFIG.EXE but it tells me DEVICE NOT DETECTED.
I see capture in software elgato capture.....
