I was wondering would I be able to connect Vmix Via NDI/Desktop capture to another PC or Mobile device with NDI, if the device is across town, if so, how would I do it?

@ GoGo Although an "across town" transmission of NDI is "possible" and has been done, I don't think the general infrastructure is in place for the "average" user just yet. Check out how it was done in this tread here: https://forums.vmix.com/....aspx?g=posts&t=6117Essentially, it is done over a LAN, but the day may be coming (hopefully) when it can be done over WAN (or Internet). Hi
NDI.Cloud might be an option for this. It is in beta at the moment...
NDI over the internet requires very high bandwidth (roughly 100 Mbits) for both ends. It also requires to set a VLAN or a VPN so that computers can communicate as if they were on the same LAN.
I guess vMixCall is a much more realistic option in most cases.
Other alternatives include RTSP streaming, UDP streaming, etc...

I tested NDI with a ubiquity nanostation m5. It worked perfectly over 300 meters.
I can imagine it would also work over longer distances with one of their airfibre systems. Depending on how long the distance is, and if there is a possibility to have line of sight, you could give this a try (and let everyone know if it worked).

Vmix Call might be an option for lower bandwidth, higher latency solution. You can Call Vmix to Vmix. Not in the same league as NDI, but still might be workable for some productions.
