I'd like to be able to assign separate activators to all of the 46 LEDs on my XK-24, instead of just the individual colors of the 24 buttons. Specifically for my use case, I'd like a single button to turn Blue when it's in Preview, and Red when it's Program. vMix's current method of reading and writing data to X-Keys devices limits you to only 1 activator per button. Additionally, with X-Key's new Light-Pipe Key Blockers, you might want to be able to set different activators to each LED, for different status indicators. http://xkeys.com/accessories/Blockers.php

Keen to hear if anyone has found a solution - I'm looking to program my XK-128 with multiple LED functions for each key as well (Off/Preview/Program)...

Having this problem as well.
I found another post that this was a limitation of midi devices. Only 1 activator per key. Then how come I can set a default, a status, and I think button press all separate but not two different status lights?
Blue for preview and red for live program.

This longstanding request looks like it might be a misunderstanding.
Right now I have three X-Keys set up for each of our three cameras, by default all three buttons are blue. If I press the button for one of those cameras then that camera is made to be the live camera and the button turns Red. When another input is selected live the button turns blue. If one of the cameras is selected live without the X-Key being pressed the button still turns red.
If I wanted I could turn on Red and Blue if the camera was Preview.
I used MIDI Shortcuts to cause the inputs to switch and I use activators to give the buttons their Default colors and more activators to control when they change color.
This is in fact covered in the tutorial video about activators.
Or have I completely misunderstood the intent of this request? (Which I grant is entirely possible).
