I normally do only broadcast sport events. Therefore I do need the function to record replays of multiple cameras but I do not need the vMix Call features.

This means i have to buy the Pro version but will not use the feature that really makes it valuable.

Instead I would like to buy a more modular version of vMix.
Maybe pay a base for the core functionality and than pay for the features I really want to use.
Say: In addition I need the module Instant Replay with 4 cams + 1000 input + scripting.
But I dont want to order the vMix Call + PTZ module for example

Hi Chris

vMixCall was added for free to the HD, 4K and Pro versions. So was the PTZ feature.
So basically the price for the Pro licence is precisely the fair price for what you need and you get PTZ and vMixCall features for free (just in case you need it someday).

If you prefer to buy modules, check Newtek products for example. You can get there a 3play 425 (replay only) for $12000.

Best regards
Guillaume

Well, which includes a quite powerfull hardware for <10k.
But I totally agree that vMix is indead the best feature / price software around.
But imagine. If vMix Call on the other side should really be a replacement vor Skype. Why should someone also buy an Instant Replay function?

The good thing is for $1200 you get it all and you choose how much you want to put for hardware.
