It would be very useful to be able to assign input ISO audio to separate audio outputs, ie. a remote camera's audio could be routed to an output to be mixed by an internal mixer. We have two buses which is a great step in that direction. Perhaps we could assign an input's audio straight to an audio output or have additional buses to achieve the same purpose.

I often have twelve audio input/outputs sitting idle that could be used by vMix.

You can use de-embedders to do this.

True enough. And, that's a bunch more little boxes on top of video transcoders, splitters, etc.

(I wonder if I could do that with a software patcher/router on the vMix system.)

I wonder if the classic Virtual Audio Cable can handle this. I'd prefer to have my routing all in one place, like vMix, but...
