Hello there.

I just wanted to warn you that Gigabyte z97x Gaming G1 motherboard is not working well with Deckling Duo 2 cards.

Here is what I experienced.

I decide to make a decent computer for basic 3 camera switching and streaming. Bought that motherboard to use with intel i7 4790 processor. 16gb ram, intel 240 Ssd (for system), zotac gtx750ti and Blackmagic decklink duo 2.

when I boot the system everything is looks ok. after a while decking card disappearing from the black magic control center, when i check the device manager there is a yellow exclamation mark there.

Tried with different Desktop video software versions, tried with different PCIExpress slots (there are 4 16x slots on that motherboard 2 of them works as 8x) tried with different brand new deckling card but it is same. card disappear after a while (sometimes 10 minutes later and sometimes 6 hours later)

after a long search on web and unanswered questions from black magic support, I found someone else has same issue with gigabyte motherboard and he fixed it by changing motherboard. Today I bought an Asus B-85 Plus motherboard and everything is looks fine so far.

I'll keep the topic updated if any further problem appears.

With My Best Regards.
Özgür Ozan E.
