This effect will be great for using virtual sets to blur reflections on non shiny surfaces for extra realism.

 10/10 would use!

Sounds more like a virtual set design issue if the reflection layer is too reflective (UVmap?) |

You can pre-render blur on custom virtual studio elements, but obviously not on live feeds.

Sounds more like a virtual set design issue if the reflection layer is too reflective (UVmap?) No, I add things like shadows to my virtual sets shadows are never have rough edges. Reflections also some times needs to be soft, not crisp clear. The transparency doesnt solve this issue. See attached a example of a set I made, If im able to blur the reflections a little bit that would be great. Capture copy.png (1,098kb) downloaded 2 time(s). |

I'd love this- being able to blur a vertical photo when I layer it to fill the wide screen, without havign to do it in another app, and take up multiple inputs to have the blurred version behind the sharp version woudl simplify things a lot.
Just being able to have a blur filter for any input would be a great assett.

I'd have thought it less common you would want to blur all layers - but you can put it through a mix input if you want to achieve that. |
