Hi all I'm looking for some help with a project I have coming up
We have been asked to broadcast an event where it will be viewed by Aprox 150 clients on the local LAN
I would normally use flme to go out to servers on the web but I can't see this working as even at a 1mbs steam we would need 150mbs back in for the users .
So I'm looking at running a local server and doing some form of muiltycast stream. One problem is the stream must be viewable in browser as all the clients are student pc's so fairley well locked down so no option to install anything like video LAN
Ideas please
Thanks

Thanks I have done this with Windows Media ENTERPRISE server running Windows Media Server on the corporate level. Corporate wants to use viewers that are part of the OS (WMP) so there are no perceived security risks or install/downloads. The multicast setup is tricky but it works...you will need to stress-test your multicast enabled network.
