A feature that would make quick switching easier would be some type of one click mixing mode or setting. This mode would allow the user to click an input anywhere on the preview thumbnail for an instant cut to live. This would essentially be a touch screen mode of running. Not sure how that would be implemented but would be a nice feature. Thanks!

That's precisely what I am talking about.
This is the second time I have missed something like this today. I need to go to bed!

Hi, now Martin, you understand what I was talking about in an earlier post when I mentioned about a Transition pallet, where the user can see all available transitions, and select the one they want. .... When I click on Quick View, I can only get a dissolve, but if there is a choice of transitions, The user can choose any that is offered......and even the renaming of Quick View to Transition....That can be added to Multiview, and even be implemented into touch screen for Multiview as well......
Just my view....

Don't you mean "Quick Play"?
If so, you can change the quick play behavior in settings>Options>QuickPlay Transition. You can select any of the current transitions there for your default.

Yes, but if you ever had a look at Cutfour, Livestream or VJDirector, you will see that there are different styles of all the effects, every style has different variations and styles, and if they are displayed, the user only has to click on the style he or she wants, but I also find that vMix does not have many variations...just Dissolve, Wipe (L-R), (R-L) etc., but not many such as a Star, Diamond, and such
