Hi there, I have searched for this feature, but can’t seem to find anything, so I’m hoping somebody here can help.
Is it possible to set up shortcuts that can be set as a main shortcut to correspond with the title of an input?
An examole might explain it better.
In our productions, we use short, 3 second bumpers to transition between segments of the show. So I would set up a shortcut that would direct cut the bumper, then on completion, cut to the preview screen.
Week to week, the bumper input may not be the same input number as it was when I made the shortcut, so is there a way of telling the shortcut to always use an input with the name ‘Bumper’ or something similar? So that wherever it appears in my input list, the shortcut button will always work?

theoretical refering to a name is possible but when adding another bumper input and name it as such might break the reference in the existing shortcut Using a script would fix that when called by a shortcut that would search for the name as input regardless of position etc problem is the oncompletion trigger for that it might be usefull to use a color input with that name and has that trigger and just add as layer the bumper input (as there is no function to add such trigger) this could also be automated with a script call As Richard pointed out refering to the number and position that input in that position is also an option The problem with vMix is there are always multiple ways of doing things ;-)
