Does anyone know of a tutorial for this?
We've got the Netgear M4250 series switches so should be more than capable. I'm wanting to have a Kiloview N3 encoding and set to multicast so that it can be viewed by a number of devices without it getting overwhelmed. There's a setting in the unit for it to be in multicast mode but I don't know what the IP address etc. should be. The switch has got IGMP snooping enabled but I don't know what to do with the querying settings. Either way, once I've got the feed on 3 or more studio monitors on laptops it starts stuttering.
Anyone got anything like this working?

Hey, its very easy. step one- login on the kiloview converter, go to encoding page -> ndi connection and select multicast and press apply. step two- login on the Netgear switch on the AV control page -> go to multicast page select port of the kiloview converter and select force multicast and press apply.
Now on the statistic page if before you had 200mbps as bandwith on that port streaming to 3 laptops you should now see only 60-70 mbps. Dont forget to save on the netgear otherwise after power off, all changes are lost. Also should you not see the multicast tab just update the firmware.
Great switches.
