so, did you try to set a shortcut like Tim explain in the video at 6:20? maybe associating some shortcuts to the same key, you can be able to do your "play at the transition". Unluckily not or just partially because when you, for example, fade to the clip in preview, it doesn't stop the previous clip and if you assign a shotcut "previewinput" and "playpause" to the same button, as soon as you push that button to send the clip to the preview, the clip start."

Should have at least tried the script then ! it stops playing the output one when transitioned with the preview one which starts to play then, even using lists it does it, and you can switch the preview inputs. And is does that is just in its most basic form

Hum, interesting...
Mix input transitions are not related with "main transitions" and triggers by design, witch i understand by the complexity envolved... BUT i doesn't make sense when working with video files...
Maybe add a button is not necessary as first requested, just a checkbox on the mix input with the option "play/pause when transition".
Sugestion, spino did you think about Open a second instance of vmix to handle with that output?

I've just to add a shortcut to load the clip in the preview of mix input and one more shortcut to cut or fade or other transitions. I want thank you because I don't know web scripting language (I'm familiar with Arduino programming language). Your help is there to demonstrate that my request wasn't so "extravagant".

They all use logic and for vMix one uses vb.net (see helpfiles and lots of tutorials on the web just like for Arduino). I suggest you have a look at the whole post where the script was linked from to learn about it a bit more
