GT Social - Flicker on vMix Social

I have set up two separate box layouts to be able to merge from one to the other and have room for an overlay the Social GT. I have then set up an "OnOverlayIn" trigger in the Social GT input to merge from one box layout to the other allowing room for the overlay. I then have an "OnOverlayOut" trigger in the Social GT input to merge back to the first box layout. Everything is setup on overlay 4.
Everything works perfectly when I manually click overlay 4 in and out. The problem occurs when I use the send function in vMix Social. When I hit "send" the overlay pops up for a fraction of a second and disappears before working the way it does manually.
I have to believe there is something simple I am missing. Any thoughts?
