When Skype and Zoom & such are "minimized" on Windows, they aren't relegated to the taskbar, but, rather, they enter a sort of "picture-in-picture" mode, where they shrink & move to the side/corner of the screen, where they remain on top, even as other programs are brought into/out of focus.

They aren't in focus themselves, and they don't interfere with the programs that are in focus, but you can always see them.

Is there an NDI monitor program that behaves the same way?

Due to my workflow, I need other programs maximized and in focus, but it'd be helpful to still be able to keep an eye on things. I figure I can't be the only one.

I tried NDI Studio Monitor from NewTek, but when it's minimized, it's minimized--at least as far as I've been able to tell.

I can route the video to the input of a Zoom meeting with just myself & minimize it, but, as I said, I figure I can't be the only one whose workflow is such that this would be beneficial, and, so I assume some program has a dedicated solution to this that isn't as shoehorned as the Zoom thing.

Anyone know of anything?

If that's how it's supposed to function, I'll try rebooting and see if that fixes it.

Thanks!

Try right clicking the Studio Monitor window to change settings

It had it enabled but it wasn't behaving properly. I figured it just didn't work, but a reboot fixed it.
