The vMix help file indicates that it is only possible to embed 8 channels of audio (4 stereo pairs) in an SDI output (via the External output) from vMix.
The help file reads like this is a restriction of the pcie output card; in my case the card is a Blackmagic DeckLink Mini Monitor 4k.
The card spec says this PCIE card is capable of embedding 16 channels of audio.
So I'm wondering is this a limitation of vMix or the card, or a combination of both......
If I'm missing something and someone has accomplished sending 16 channels of audio from vMix via an SDI external output, could you please enlighten me as to how this can be accomplished.
Thanks Kris

Got some emails from Martin about a year ago: Hi, vMix only supports a maximum of 8 audio channels from Decklink cards, sorry about that. Kind Regards,
Martin vMix
vMix supports 16 audio channels with AJA cards such as Kona 4 or IO4K Kind Regards,
