Hi guys
For the past three months I've been having problems with audio sync in VMIX. System specs below - i7 3770K, 16GB, GTX660, Windows 7 Ultimate, 2x Decklink Duo & 2 Decklink SDI. Two cameras are connected to the Decklink Duo and one other camera to the Decklink SDI card. The last Decklink SDI card gives us HD output to our ATEM 1M/E switcher. All capture inputs are in HD 1080i50. The resolution on the ATEM switcher is also set to 1080i50.
Our main problem is that the video and audio are out of sync by a couple of frames and sometimes even as much as 1 or 2 seconds. Usually it gets resolved by restarting the EXTERNAL OUTPUT but nowadays it just gets worse and worse. We are considering buying a Decklink Quad card so that we eliminate the need for all those cards in the system. Will that help? Could having multiple cards in different slots cause audio sync issues? Maybe having all the cameras on one card and taking the output from the same card will resolve the audio delays. HELP!
Thanks Carlos

Audio sync issues usually mean the External Output settings have not been configured correctly. Could you confirm the following:
1. Running the latest version of vMix 12 2. That "vMix Audio" is set in Settings -> Audio tab 3. That the Decklink Audio Render option is selected as Audio Device in the External Output tab and not "Blackmagic Audio"
Thanks,

Thanks,
Martin vMix Everything is set just like you said by default but we are still a few frames off. And it does look like the pictures are strobing as well. Carlos

Can you click the i button next to the External button and provide a screenshot? It may provide some information as to what is happening.
Also, do a test recording and see if the delay is there also.
