In the versions we have now the videos we can climb, enlarge, rotate about the z axis, x or y. But sometimes when we create our own virtual set the image perspective makes it impossible to adjust our potential virtual video screen we have in our image, so the sense of perspective and reality are lost. It would be great if we could adjust our video just grab each of the corners and bring them to the point where we want to be, we would win a lot.

+1
Not only for virtual sets, but for all multiview video size postions.
In addition it would be even better if one couls crop by dragging the sides of the video window.

+1

Like previously mentioned, this would be great for multiview setup. If someone is making a presentation and we want to resize the presentation screen to look like it is tilted in toward the speaker in a specific angle and size, that would great!

Perhaps I'm missing something here...
I realize the Z axis adjustment is not as intuitive as one might like, but perspective (tilt) can easily be achieved if you mouse click the Z axis icon and adjust either the x or y perspective.
This should accomplish the goals each of you are seeking (aside from cropping which seems like a separate request).

I cannot believe I missed that! I just realized that you can switch between the X,Y and Z axis for rotation. For some reason whenever I have seen that I just understood it to be a 1 dimensional rotation.

Being able to click and place each corner would be nice though.

I was playing around with FFDshow last night and was able to achieve it with one of the filters. Not as easy to get to though.

@ Ice

I think I have not explained well in the previous post, I will try you to see what I mean with pictures.

As you can see in figure 1, we have created this virtual set with this perspective, and using axes "z", "y" or "x" We managed to obtain the necessary perspective, but here comes the problem, as you can see in the figure 2, I have outlined the problem we get, is that the image does not match the set, why? Because we can not adjust our background image and the video is out of position.

This is what I meant and I wanted to let you see.

Greetings!

I tend to agree with pasingshot. The ability to grab corners and move into position will be most effective IMO.

I'll +1 this feature too!

I feel your pain. As I alluded to, the system as it is, is not easy to work with, and working in 3d space can be frustrating at the best of times. Being able to place corners in the appropriate spots to attain the proper vanishing point perspective instantly would be a definite improvement.
So +1 for that.
I don't know that your current mis-match is "impossible" to correct, but it certainly is a challenge to find the right plane.
I played around with it a little with the vMix Sliders and came up with this (not perfect, but a maybe a little better than what you had).
I'm no expert with 3d space but my point was that it is possible in vMix (although painstakingly cumbersome).

as a reference:
Zoom 0.4415
Zoom x 0.4325
Zoom y 0.45025
Pan x -0.278
Pan y 0.314
Rotate x -0.0837758
Rotate y -0.9302605
Rotate z 0.0837758

Again, it's not perfect and could probably use considerable tweaking.
I am no expert but a lot probably has to do with the actual design of the virtual set and how vMix "sees" the 3d space.
There are so many factors to consider with these things from camera position to lens focal length.
It ain't always that easy.

Wow ... I've been surprised there, I trying to get something like what you've done and have not been able, maybe I should have spent more time trying. Thank you very much for making us see that this is possible, yet the possibility of directly would save much time.

Greetings!
