I would like to start an action(s) immediately as an audio channel receives sound
btw, i would like to be sure that if an audio channel receive any sound, the slider and the mute button are turned to ON automatically without any human hand

does someone have idea how i could approach this?
thank you to anybody ciao

seems like a bit similar to audio ducking but with other commands for result.
Script probably could do that

see: https://forums.vmix.com/...Script-for-audio-ducking

BTW by MUTE On ? does that not mean no audio to hear what you meant ?
Slider on? is always on , or do you mean something different ?

Probably bad translation , but what is the point of muting the moment audio comes in compared to turn of the audio all together in the first place

well the answer is not so easy but here it is:
i have a guy in my team managing audio levels of any audio source in the production, with a mixer connected via midi to the main vMix computer
Another person is in charge of several things in the studio including audio effects (applauses, laughts, jingles, whatever)
I want that if the second guy launches any effect in any moment this sound have to go live, even if the first one has lowered the fader/pressed the mute button
more clear now?

meanwhile thank you for your suggestion

A little bit

where is the audio muted /faded ? the mixer or in vMix ? (where is the vMix mute button ?)

you could trigger OnAudioMeterDB of the effect input to use one of the SetVolume shortcut functions ( see list of shortcuts) or when that input is on ( bit of scripting to check the audio of it ) . Depends how your audio is routed within vMix like using busses etc
