GT DESIGNER UPDATE REQUEST (TEXT RESIZING ON WIDTH ONLY)

The shrink text box resizing is cool but it will be much better to add shrink width resizing.
I have introduced some news stations into vMix Graphics.
They are working perfectly but the only issue is the resizing

What and based on what should the shrinking happen ?

try shrink with word wrapping disabled

BTW: writing in capitals = shouting = no need to!

We use vMix graphics for news productions. Adding that section will not spoil anything. we need a separate resizing. both axis resizing always makes more text becomes small

this is an example of a news channel in Ghana. I've introduced vmix graphics and UTC and its working perfect. all that


check the second story of the news and see how the text shrink on both axis

as i said : use shrink with word wrapping turned off

I think Automatic text width transform will be better to avoid overlapping text issues with Kerning.

By the way, I work in a news station, I know what I am asking for. Watch CNN news lower thirds and you will appreciate my point.

+1 on this feature request!

Building a team rooster that fetches name from a Sheets doc. To match some backgrund graphics i need to have a max width set on the text boxes.
If a player have long name the shrink feature makes it fit but since it shrinks both text width and height it does not look that nice.

It would look better if only the text width was adjusted (shrunk) to fit within the textbox.

Text shrinking

I hope this feature can be incorporated in future updates.

If there is any other way to solve this (without coding) a would appreciate any suggestion!
