Trying to increase volume of my output to Zoom. I have tried all that I know, which is not much, to raise the loudness of my audio going out to my Zoom guest but have not succeeded.
I have not changed the gain in VMix imputs.
A have a wireless mic I have Shure SLXD1 wireless pack - gain set to +18dB I have Shure SLXD4 receiver - gain set to +10dB I have Machie ProFxv3 10 channel mixer - the gain is set to U (in my earphones I hear lots of noise). I have turned EQ on the mixer to for hi, mid, low to -15 to limit the noise in my earphones. A USB connects the mixer to my computer. I use vMix and Zoom for online classes.
When I do a zoom teaching session, my audio output is extremely low. The students have to turn their volume way up. Yet, when the students talk back to me, their volume has to be turned down. It is way too loud coming back to me.
I cannot figure out how to increase my volume so that my students have to turn my volume down on their computers like I have to turn down theirs.
If I turn the gain up on my end, it distorts. I cannot figure out how to increase the loudness on my end. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you so much for your response!
If I raise the gain on the Machie mixer, distortion occurs.
At present, I have all EQ turn down to -15 to limit noise in earphones. The gain on the mixer is set to just before U. The main meter is registering between -10 and -20 for the most part when speaking with the wireless microphone.

In Zoom, under Settings -> Audio
What is the Input Level on the Microphone set to?
What is the Output Level on the Speaker set to?

In both cases, the levels are set at 100%. When a student speaks back to me, I have to make sure that I have turned the volume down. This is the problem - my students have to turn me up very high to hear, but immediately have to adjust volume when a student asks a question because the volume is so high as they are trying to hear me.

Perhaps you have an impedance mismatch. Check the Output of the Shure SLXD receiver through the menu. If it is set to Line, then your Maxie mixer input has to match, it would need to be set to Line also. Conversely, if the SLXD receiver Output is set to Mic, then make sure the Input channel on the Maxie is adjusted to accept a Mic level input.
