Does GT Ticker impose a GPU upgrade?

My current setup is as follows:
HP i7, 3.6 GHz, 16 GB DDR3 RAM Motherboard is MSI Kalili2, with Intel Z97 chipset HP integrated GPU 1 PTZ, HDMI into Blackmagic Design 4K Capture Card in PCIe 16 3.0 slot 1 PTZ, HDMI into Elgato HD60 Pro Capture Card in PCIe 1 2.0 slot
I get 30 FPS and 8 ms render times in the stream (satisfactory for my purposes) until a GT Ticker is added, at which point frame rate drops to 24 FPS and render time jumps to 50+ ms.
I have been avoiding adding an NVIDIA GPU since it will take the only PCIe 16 3.0 slot that I have, and it will force me into running at least one of the PTZ cameras as an NDI input.
I think I know the answer but thought I would check to see if there is anything I could do to improve performance when using the GT Ticker.
