Hi!

I would like to play two different Videos at the same time at two different outputs.

We got two videoprojectors. One left and one at the right side.

Maybe at the left side Powerpoint content and at the right side the close picture of a speaker from one camera.

Then i like to start videos (one left and one right) at the same time but with different content.

Perfectly it would be great to have a "parallel" playlist (with a left and a right video)

So i could also have a resolution of 3840x1080 ;-)

Is there any solution with vmix?

thx!

Would NDI be of any use to you ?

in Output settings specify which inputs you want NDI to go out
Then on your network have other computers each receive one of these NDI feeds with NDI studio Monitor

or play with your external outputs or multiple monitor setups

Perfectly it would be a good idea to check out the relations between inputs, outputs , NDI, various settings etc in vMix ;-)

@Doogy: Thanks!

I Use also NDI - But this is not my solution to solve my "problem" ;-)

It would be important to start two different Clips exactly in parallel.

How much time difference is there between 2 start play shortcut functions of 2 different inputs under the same key ?

Hmmm.. Don't know..

It is interesting for me, how I get two simultaneous signals at the outputs. Preview AND Program could be a solution. But I don't think that will work perfectly either.
But the idea with the shortcuts is not entirely wrong - at least to start with.

Why not just try it ;-)
open a video in output and another in preview (put both in Pause), create 2 shortcuts with the same key; 1 set to play the input that is in your preview and one set to play the input that is in your output.

These function can also be used in scripts and made to respond to certain situations (check the list of all available shortcut functions ;-)

One can choose which input goes where besides your usual output (NDI, External,SRT,....)

&

How you physically set it all up depends on your hardware
Could say similar to outputting to multiple monitors
