Hello together,

We use vMix for Streaming on Twitch with 1080p60. Our Setup consists of 4 or more (up to 8) Cameras and SRT and RTMP Streams aswell as numerus NDI and Browser Sources. We Record some of our content aswell with the Recorder feature.
We are experiencing high render Times (leading to dropped frames) when using Instant Replay (only when playing to output), adding browser sources and NDI Sources. We also run in Problems when we are Streaming to multiple servers and do recording.

We are using Version 24.0.0.64 for livestreaming on Twitch. We have an Issue where we suffer frameloss, problems with Replay and overall slow system response
when we get Donations displayed in the Stream via Browser Source.
None of the issues we see in vMIX are visible in the livestream (other than Replay issues that come from this problem).
If we get a donation and do a Replay at the same time the video in the replay plays slower than realtime although Replay speed is indicated at 100% by vMIX.
The donation alerts are captured from a website and added to the Output via an overlay.

These are the System Specs:
CPU: Ryzen 9 3900x AiO Watercooled
GPU: RTX 2080Ti
MB: ROG STRIX X570F Gaming
RAM: 32GB Dual Channel G.Skill DDR4-2132
SSD: Samsung 860 EVO 500GB with Windows 10 Pro. vMix is installed here as this is the C: drive
SSD: Samsung 860 EVO 1000GB for mass storage.
SSD: Samsung 970 EVO 500GB for Replay only
Monitors: 2 Dell 24" HSX 1920x1080
1 Dell 27" HSX 1920x1080

The GPU Mem Indication in vMix shows 34% and CPU vMix shows
Task Manager does not show any component near 100% load.

The control hardware for vMIX consists of two Elgato Streamdecks XL and one ShuttlePROv2.

We also have a problem where the GPU Mem indication in vMIX rises from 58% to 97% when we load in 32 Videos (added as 32 individual Inputs), about 12s each.
When checked in Taskmanager the load of the dedicated GPU-Mem rises but doesn't reach near 80%. What exactly does the GPU MEM
in vMIX indicate? What happens if it reaches 100%? Is the vMix GPU Mem just a space which vMix reserves on the GPU and the Size of the reserved Mem does not scale with the size of the actual GPU Mem

Can we improve performance with a quattro graphics card by using more hardware encoders?
Will switching to a intel i9 10980XE with x299 motherboard help?
Will switching to a 3080Ti help (more CuDA Cores)?
How can we find the Bottleneck in our system?

High End GPU option is already ticked in the menu.
Samsung Software also shows that write/read speeds are fine on all drives

We highly appreciate all help

Can you use the list input for videos instead? It sounds like you're maxing out the GPU memory buffer, multiple videos will do that very quickly, especially if they are 4K.

Have you looked at this? https://www.nvidia.com/e...s-resizable-bar-support/
Note that the motherboard needs to support this as well.

Thank you for the answer,
But is it possible to play a specific video from a playlist without manually selecting the video in the playlist? Like with a streamdeck or companion?

@ SPONTENT

YES, if you know the position in the List of the video you want, you can use the Shortcut "SelectIndex" to highlight it as the current video to play from the List.

I couldn't get this to work as a shortcut but it did work as a script.
