i'm a live productions technician (events, fairs, congress, etc...)

and i use vMix Pro alone and with other hardware (Ascender,Pulse, etc...).

I also do A/V post production and recently i got a Loupedeck CT to work with.

It is amazing and it's completely customizable: from the simple shortcut, to complex macros.

It's mainly designed to work for A/V postproduction, but after a week spent to customize it for vMix,

i can state that it can works very well for live productions too.

I can assign all shortcuts and use the wheel to change inputs or scrub clip and mark in/out;

use rotary controllers to select channel (push) and adjust audio or select titles and overlay them to the program ...

BUT it lacks things such ICONS on touch buttons and wheel, activators and others ...

It will AMAZING if vMix and Loupedeck will make support to each other.


They claim that can support/do a preset for their products if they have access to APIs ... and vMix has them accessible !!!

So it will be easy to integrate

I've sent an email to Loupedeck to ask the same (they have no forum yet).

They released the SDK to help developers to integrate their softwares with the CT.

I have the Loupedeck Live and also would like to see some direct integration between the two products.

Hi everybody, i am using LoupeDeck CT for Replay in VMIX and i have an issue for scrubbing the replay timeline with the central wheel.
Let me explain. I tried several solutions :
- configure a midi note for the left rotation and another midi note for the right and create ReplayJumpFrame shorcut on vmix for each midi note. This works but in use sometimes i have freeze on the communication betewenn loupedeck and vmix and midi note reception was blocked on vmix (when i use "find" fonction on shortcut i can see than there is no note send for 1 or 2 second) and it's very disturbing when you try to prepare a replay.
- configure a midi ControlChange for the central wheel of the loupdeck CT. I don't have midi freezing problems with this way but i can't configure correctly my midi shortcut on vmix for control the replay scrubbing with a loupedeck CT ControlChange information.
- configure a keyboard shortcut for the left rotation and another keyboard shortcut for the right. In this case no freeze on the shortcut reception on vmix but when i scrub more than 2 second and i stop scrubbing the playhead continue to scrub. More i scrub more the playhead continue before stopping, as if the amount of info is too large and creates a buffer

Have someone find a coorect way to configure the LoupeDeck CT central wheel to scrub replay playhead ?
