I am often using PTZ positions or virtual inputs during a concert. It is easy to loose track of which camera is currently live while looking for the next shot.
If for example I have a PTZ position for Input 1 as input 7, I would like the program color to appear on that input (maybe pulsing). So if input 1 is in program, and I have that set to red, all related PTZ or Virtual positions will have a flashing red. Then I can see at a glance all inputs related to the current live input. This would be helpful for both program and preview.
Thanks for considering. I have seen requests that ask for inputs (positions) to be locked out in this scenario, I think just an indicator of what's live would work for me! (That PTZ movement is not nice to look at)

certainly a lot of people want to see something done around PTZ virtual inputs.. if it gets updated it would be good to see some options to accommodate different situations.. maybe along these lines..
"Lock".. to stop any changes from the same camera in the program output
"Alert".. to flash a color for the same PTZ camera being used in program (as mentioned here)
also it would be good to have something like "Smooth Transition" where you could set independent movement speed from the regular PTZ setting.. so selecting a second virtual input from the same camera in program gets you a creative transition that looks human operated.. then when switching between inputs in preview or using a joystick you still have the regular speed setting for faster changes etc...
hopefully it is being considered for next update...

+1 for both the above concepts, but offering some refinement:
Provide an event/activator to indicate which virtual input index has been called from a shortcut. Personally, I'm using VMix to control PTZ cameras but switching with a hardware switcher so I want to change the LED color on my controller in order to tell which preset is active in each of the separate PTZs without regard to preview or program output.
