HI, I'm on VMix 27.0.0.72 x64 (just updated), latest stable Chrome and Windows 10. Vmix has been working fine, with multiple capture devices and software installed.
Now, we are trying to create an output from Vmix to serve as Chrome's camera input. We are trying to use the second workflow in this Knowledgebase:

When we click on the External button along the bottom, we get an error:

StartStopExternal.StartStopExternal

The External Settings dialogue has this:

external settings.png (88kb) downloaded 0 time(s).

The Output Settings has this:

outputs.png (107kb) downloaded 0 time(s).

How can we start using the external output ?
