Problem with Tally stays on in MultiLayered Scenes

Hi,
we love to work with the multilayer feature in vMix to merge between different scenes/inputs. The PiP Windows fly in and out, looking pretty awesome. However, we have a problem with the tally for the content that is off-screen and not in the picture but still in the layers.
How to overcome this issue? Deactivating the layer does not help, as long as the input is set in a layer the tally stays on(red). Deleting it is not a solution too, because on a merge it would just fade out and not move out nicely.
So, how to overcome this issue? Is there a way to manually trigger tally lights for certain multilayer scenes?
Best regards, Martin

Best regards, Martin Why is this an issue ? The layer (input) is still active (as in "in use") despite being out of view or more like out of the frame ? A script could check for that based on the position data. Displaying that of screen result as a "activator" is another matter as i am not aware of a function to do so except for maybe an information input ( a title) showing which of the various layers on or off screen

The issue is, that for example you have a 3 camera setup and you have a multilayer scene with a PPT presentation and you have camera 1 as a smaller PiP beside that PPT window. Now we want to merge to camera 2 by flying the camera 1 PiP window out of the frame and camere 2 PiP flies into the frame. Camera 3 is also out of the frame in that scenario so we can fly it in as a "full screen" window for example. In all that cases, Camera1,2 & 3 would always signaling a red-tally light on the cameras, even if they are not visable. Thats the problem. Only the camera that is visable should have the red-tally on, the others not. Maybe a script would be a solution that would check the current position/size and if the transition is complete, remove that input from the layer. As i wrote above, its not enough to just active/deactivate the layer, the input must be removed from a layer to turn the tally off. I would prefer a solutions to have an activator or similar, and when a multilayer scene/input becomes active, it sets the right tally lights. Best regards, Martin

Could you give a hint on how one could decide (for the blind computer) on when a layer is not in view (out of frame) despite being part of an active input or even a layer being a multilayer itself ? Maybe an indication in the API xaml if a layer is active ( checked) with additional function to activate/deactivate layers (feature request) as a start

@ Machtl
The "workaround" is to create additional Virtual or Blank Inputs that do not have the other Inputs as Overlays off screen (can be tricky for switching, but will solve your Tally "issue").
