Hello! I'm using sony xdcam Kameras with max res 1080 50 interlaced. Since now we switched them to 720 50P so there wehere no issues. But now my production needs to get better. So i question myself what are the best settings for vmix. We are doing hockey Streaming and Live on Screen. And the final file for Tv should be 1050 interlaced.
So i have tried different settings, but i don't understand which one get best for vmix, in order to not get in system overload and dropping a lot of frames.
For example here 1 setting:
Project Setting 1080 50p
Inputs (8 cams) 108050i Replay (6 cams) 108050i
2 different Outputs on decklink. 1080 50i
2 Records in 1080 50p (!!) (clean and dirty)
Stream rmtp Output 6mbs
Info: i figured out that recording in 50i is not satisfying as i read that vmix will make 25p of it what means that we lose fluid movements.
Is there any idea of better workflows?
(note: there's no way in changing the input res because the whole system of fix installed cams is 50i. And finally the Output on the Deckling MUST be 50i for the Wall and DOPs)
Thank you so much for your answers
Stefan

did you some tests with project 1080i50? If all your inputs and outputs are 1080i50 then your project also should be 1080i50

Thank you for your reply, the problem is, that i have to record in 50p because vmix doesn't use real 50i. When i put the project on 50i. The recording is not as good with 50p. The movements are shuttering as i would use cameras in 25p.
