My client would like to use their own Zoom account to stream an upcoming conference, having me operate multiple cams + PowerPoint capture in the room and send the resulting output into their Zoom account.
I'm sure someone has done something similar and if there is any advice you may offer on the method for doing this I'd be most grateful.

In the conference room - my 2 cams + Ppt capture into my vMix laptop.
Send the mix to their Zoom account - maybe on their computer(?)
Thanks

I got a little chuckle out of this. You can set up a multi-cam production but can't figure how to get it into Zoom?

How are you planning on getting your sources into the vMix laptop? Does your vMix laptop have a GPU? Do you have capture devices, HDMI to USB for instance?

You can use the HDMI out of your laptop to send program to a Black Magic Web presenter or something similar, USB into the Zoom Machine and select that device as your webcam and audio device.
OR
Use NDI to output vMix program over the LAN, NDI webcam input on the Zoom machine and select that as your Camera and Audio device in Zoom.
OR
Get a PCIE expansion chassis, throw a BM Decklink capture card in there and you've got an SDI I/O ready to go.

Should be easy to accomplish with a couple pieces of gear and a reasonably good Laptop

Glad to have added some humor to your day at my expense Luke :-) - but thanks anyway for your very detailed explanation. Much appreciated - truly!
Luckily I found the answer my question with a much simpler solution and without adding a whole lot of extra hardware:
https://streamgeeks.us/how-to-use-zoom-with-vmix/

I'm outlining the procedure here so one does not have to watch their full video...

1. From vb-audio.com/Cable/ download and install a VB-CABLE Driver as Virtual Audio cables A & B into your Windows system.
2. Unzip the downloaded file and install both drivers.
They are now available as virtual audio cables in your vMix new inputs.

3. In vMix: Click the Add Input button.
4. Select "Audio Input"
5. In the dropdown select "vMix Audio Bus A" and click OK.
Now clicking the External button sends your video output to Zoom.

6. For sending Audio to Zoom: Open SETTINGS in vMix:
7. Select Audio Outputs
8. In the Master Output box select Cable A
9. In the A box, select "CABLE-A Input (VB-Audio Cable A)" as your audio output.
10. In the box at the bottom of the window, you may even select A as your "Default Bus for new inputs".

11.You now need to restart vMix to apply the changes.

12. In Zoom: (installed and working on the same laptop)
13. Login to your account and start a New Meeting.
14. In the Video button up arrow, select the "vMix Video" option (as your virtual camera).
15. Click the Video button to start.

Invite participants and you're good to go.

No fancy hardware needed!
Hope that helps.

Thank you so much for your kind offer. I truly appreciate it.
I did a bit of research and lucked upon an easy method of going from vMix to Zoom (both on the same computer) which I outlined in my reply to Luke.
Again, thank you for you offer to help!

Glad you've found a suitable solution, I've had laptops kind of max out when I've tried to do to much, so I always try to get vMix on a dedicated machine and Zoom on it's own machine as well. The solution you've found will work and I've done productions with a similar setup, just be mindful of the laptop's resource usage.

You're absolutely right about doing it on 2 separate machines. My test was done using the same laptop since I may have to go that route for the final event (long story) but I did monitor resource usage and it was perfectly ok.
Thanks.

God bless you, @pesi! Now if I could just figure out a way not to hear myself in my wireless headset AND still hear the participants.
