Costco also has the MSI GE76 17" with 3060, i7-11800H, 16GB, 1TB SSD for $1299, ends tomorrow though. The 1080p 144hz screen is not the best (~60% srgb gamut) but we use external displays anyways. Picked one up. Can use a external monitor, can't just replace the gpu in these.

Don't forgot the Allstate $99 warranty adds the third year but also gives years 1-3 accidental damage coverage, no brainer.

Sold out online, my local Costco got a 2nd batch in around the 16th, I picked one up then. Many locations are sold out.

In benchmarks, appears to be outperforming (3dMark) the Alienware X17's with 3060s (hundreds $ more). We have been using Alienware/Dell for over 20 years as well.

I think the 3060 is the better option vs 3050 for vmix. The Lenova does have a better display and perhaps its hinge design is a little more durable but I'd go for the 3060 over the 3050 (suppose it depends on the # of vmix inputs you use), can't upgrade the gpu in the future.

Costco gives you 90 days to try it out, try it or try them both (if MSI still available). Seeing the MSI out of stock does say a lot though.
