We had an event this weekend and had a problem with the external output from VMix suddenly going from perfectly fine to a scrambled signal. Turning external output off and then back on solved the problem, but only temporarily.

Any idea what might be going on? We use a high horsepower computer (Production Bot). We switched SDI ports on our AJA Corvid 88 card and that didn't solve the problem. We noticed that it often coincided with what seemed like a little software hiccup, where the bars in the audio mixer all flashed off for a moment.

These issues did NOT affect the direct streaming output, only the external output via SDI.

But this sucked big time, because we were sending our external output to the primary event stream as a sub-switch.
