Would it be possible to enter a number via the keypad instead of having to scroll and select a number from the dropdown? Sometimes I have a lot of inputs and it seems like it could be just a bit faster. :)

Dragging them to their position not an option ?
or maybe a shortcut (to script) that asks (what is in preview) to move (using the MoveInput function) to typed in position?
