I really like to do interactive stuff on my streams. But that requires a whole lot of inputs. Titles, sfx, browser overlays, you name it. And most of the times input number goes over 50. vMIX becomes a bit slow to render after that.
Is it a good idea to run a second instance of vMIX to put all extra inputs? The main one will have mostly capture cards and mixer. Everything else will be brought via NDI from the second system.
Does anyone use this kind of setup? Will buying a new GPU with resizable RAM allow to go beyond 50 inputs without any slowdowns?
It's just an idea and I would like to hear some of your thoughts.
