on a broadcast a month ago and last week I encountered an identical audio sync problem. In the meantime I have also run other productions with the same machine and they went smoothly.
the problem that arose was as follows: somewhere in the broadcast a ticking sound in the audio started not much later followed by a short metal sound for a few seconds and then the sound recovered but audio and video were out of sync. this occurred identically in both productions.
The only variable I could find compared to the other productions is that I used a waves plugin in the 1st production a month ago. So I removed it in the second. Unfortunately, the problem just happened again.
The remaining possibility is that it is somewhere in the preset I created for this production. any other suggestions, ideas, what this could be?
