Video capture freezing on VMix during session

I recently did a stream using the most current version 24.0.0.63 of Vmix along with an AJA UTap to USB capture device taking SDI in from the camera. I also used the streamdeck to activate shortcuts I assigned to it such as cutting between the camera and other inputs such as PowerPoint slides transferred into Vmix and other recorded videos. During the stream the camera input was fine but a found after switching to other inputs over a period of time the camera input froze in VMix. When I cut to the camera the image remained frozen I had to cut to another image even though from the beginning of the stream I saw the video from the camera working fine. I could also see on the camera's monitor from the output of the camera that the camera was not frozen and outputting a signal well. After the stream, I went into the camera's input selection and changed the input to the same UTap input that was already feeding it but became frozen. I found after I completed the change back to the same input it originally had but was frozen the video from the camera began to work again. I have used the AJA UTAP many times with VMix and no issues. So my question is could the recent update be an issue or can an input video feed become a CPU issue and thus VMix froze it while other feeds worked fine? It is a strange one as I have never had an input freeze on me in VMix before. I was streaming to restream and monitoring on another computer so no issues of overloading my VMix computer. I saw the frozen video input in VMix in the input frame itself and thus also in the streamdeck button as I had it set to see the thumbnails of the input associated with at button shortcut. It truly is a strange one since I was only steaming not recording at the same time so not an overtaxed system and as I said when I reloaded the input into the same input via VMix it was no longer frozen so it appears to be a VMix issue.

I didn't use a hub and I already tried different USB inputs and still got the freeze but I have followed your untick the power management feature as you suggested so I will see the outcome. However, I find this ironic since I have used the AJA with zoom and other software that use USB video capture with no issues and I used it with the previous versions of VMix for many years and no freeze-ups. Hopefully, your power management suggestion cures the issue. I may have to go with NDI as being an input for the video capture via their virtual camera software for live events as I can't risk a freeze-up in VMix again. I will experiment with VMix further to see if it is just a power management feature causing the issues but I am not willing to test on a live stream. Good to hear I am not the only one who has experienced this freeze-up issue and I am glad the admins had a suggestion that hopefully resolves it.
